Past Life of A Horse

.

I did a reading for a horse named Emmett. It was so interesting that I thought I would share the results. The horse is lame which means it can’t walk properly and has pain in one of its legs. The first thing I saw when I looked at Emmett’s energy is that his issue is emotional. He had a huge blockage in his heart. I also saw that he had an ear issue with ringing in his ears that was affecting his psyche and how he feels.

The intriguing part of this reading is that I saw Emmett had been part of a Native American tribe in his past life. I heard, “Wounded Knee.”  I don’t know if it meant that he was part of the Battle at Wounded Knee in 1890 in South Dakota, or that he hurt his knee in battle, or both... The details were not as important as how Emmett feels about it today. This loving and compassionate horse feels responsible for his people’s death to this day! He has not forgiven himself and gotten over this tragedy. And so you see, animals and people are not that different after all!

In Emmett’s past life he had been very close to his people. I saw him right outside of their tepee where his people would come out and feed him and love him up! They tied feathers in his mane and gave him their scraps after meals. He was an integral part of their family and their adventures, as well as their transportation.

During the time of Emmett’s death (in his past life) I saw him going down onto his right knee. This is the same knee and leg that hurts him today. I saw that Emmett must let go of his past in order to heal. And to respect and love his new life and new owners. I gave him a healing on this and told his person friend what she can do to help her horse let go and heal.

Emmett is now 15 years old. He does not want “his person” in this life to get hurt. He loves her. This lady reported that Emmett can run fine when she is not on his back. But as soon as she gets on his back he limps. The obvious thought is that the more weight he bears the harder it is for him. The truth is that when she’s on his back, he feel responsible for her. We believe that in Emmett’s past life he had some of his family members on his back when they were killed and Emmett went down on his right knee. He doesn’t want to repeat this story today. It’s a deep psychological feeling. Perhaps the ringing in his ears is due to the battle shots in his past life too. Not all horses are tough war horses. Especially ones that were used to being happy and free, as Native Americans did not pen their horses in tight quarters as many people do today.

I just read a little about the Massacre at Wounded Knee. Apparently the soldiers “lead” the Indians to one place and then asked for their riffles. A deaf Indian refused and a battle ensued. Those who were not killed there tried to escape and were also shot. This is what I believe happened to Emmett and his people. Let’s say a prayer for all of the sad animals in the world and remember that it’s not just us humans who hold sorrow, guilt and fear. We all need to forgive the past. It’s the only way to move on and to be happy. Let’s learn from our mistakes, while we are at it, and treat everyone with kindness and respect. Because you never know what path other moccasins have walked.

Thank you, Robin, You heard Emmett’s heart & soul speak, not just for himself , but so many other animals without voice. You have told the part of his story that was hard for me to speak. In a few days I will write a testimonial about the joyous part of helping him become the happy healthy horse he should be. we are now Emmett’s family

As I am currently reading the story of Black Elk, a Lakota Indian, who was related to Crazy Horse~ I can hear him talking about his horses with the same love, awareness and insight that Robin shares. The animals have so much experience to share, if we will only listen. Thank you Robin!

3 hr exam on Emmett: you would not be surprised but the vet was. He lunges sound but is not when ridden. vet focused on front rt leg & his back just as you did. He blocked the front rt foot, then suspensory with no obvious improvement. In fact Emmett walked fine in hand but did not want to move with me on him. He xrayed his back from withers to most of saddle area. Saddle area showed kissing spine & withers have osteoporosis on tips of bones. vet said it looked like he had flipped over at some time. hoof xrays were good though he has no heels. I am not using the western med options. No riding for the time being. I will return to the aloe vera messages & all of my naturopathy therapies. Every thing about the exam verified your findings. I am excited about helping him heal. thank you, Robin.
