Meditate for one hour daily. Sit quietly and bring your attention the your breath and connection with Source.
Watch the movie, "Eat the Sun" and decide if the practice of sun gazing would benefit your life, readings/channelings and connection with Source.
Blog about both.
i saw the movie you assigned and found it interesting. I’m don’t feel called to sun gaze at this time but can see that it could help one gain spiritual clarity. I’ve been working sitting still and meditating for an hour a day which has been a challenge since we have been traveling. Some days an hour seems like more than 60 minutes.
My 1 hour meditations are being challenging. 3 times I fell for a nap. So I then decided to do 3 sessions of 20 minutes, morning afternoon and evening. It worked better. I will try again next week. I like the idea of Sun Gazing. But for different reasons I didn’t resonate with the movie and most of the characters in it. In fact I felt only 2 people coming from a geniuine place, with no ego involved.
I have been meditating for 1 hour each day, with 30 minutes in the morning (my usual), and adding 30 minutes in the evening (which I used to do years ago). I feel a good shift in my mental and emotional state of my calmness and more clarity. I find I have more insight into my life & daily decisions when I meditate this way. I am now moving into trying the meditation for a full hour in the morning to see how that works for me. I watched the movie Sun Gazing and found it to be so interesting in terms of spiritual seeking, fasting (which I used to do on a fairly regular basis), meditation (which the practice of sun-gazing incorporates), and religions of the world, such as ‘en-light-enment’ (Buddhism), the light of Christ, the ‘light behind the light’ (The Tibetan Book of the Dead), Earth-based religions that existed before the Abrahamic religions, etc. I think it would make a lively discussion in person. I don’t feel drawn to do sun-gazing for me; I think it is just one path among many, and I am drawn to other paths for health, spiritual guidance, and connection with the divine.
