    1. Tools
    A. One of the times I was out of my body this week was when I was running out of patience with my 3-year old. I don’t remember what it was about, but I wanted to be able to remain calm and stay in my center, so I called myself back in. I was then able to handle the situation with intelligence, resilience and love.

    2. Meditation
    A. My breathing imbalance differs day to day, but my imbalance usually means a longer inhale. It was easy, however, for me to find balance, and I played around with different increments, 15-20 being the longest.

    B. Enjoyed my soul love meditations, and found myself applying them frequently throughout the day.

    3. Gratitude Diaries
    A. Hamlet: “There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so”

    B. Good or bad depends on your attitude.

    4. AP Call
    A. I really enjoyed the call with my AP this week- I feel like I am getting the hang of using Sacred Words and respecting boundaries. It was very nice to have a positive conversation about gratitude, and not surprising that my AP and I shared some commonalities in this area.

    Week 3
    1) I realize that I need to practice more ‘grounding’ before I can fearlessly go in and out.
    A) Example : This happened during week 3 before I listened to this class. I had an experience around grounded-ness (not sure if this qualifies as in & out). I was driving and I sensed ‘danger ahead”. I scanned my body and I felt both, my level of underground-ness (reflected in my fast driving), but I also felt my centeredness (reflected in my ability to perceive danger beyond my physical senses, and being able to trust my ‘knowingness’ in spite of no visible signs of danger). A deer came out from behind the truck that was stopped on the opposite lane. I slowed down fast enough and the deer luckily kept moving along so that I didn’t hit him. My learning was to realize WHY I drive a little too fast most of the time. I have been increasingly aware of this lately. I bring awareness into the theme of being grounded at different times of the day.
    2) 1 Min Balanced Breathing & 5 Min Soul Love Meditation. The conscious balanced breathing does multiple things for me. It helps bring balance, it increases my energy, and sometimes but not always helps me ground. I am sometimes at a 5 and sometimes at a 10. I am not sure what Soul Love Meditation is.
    3) A) Quote: “There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so” ~Hamlet
    B) “Good or bad depends on our perceptions”

    1. Grounding and centering is what keeps me sane in time of turbulence, so I’m glad it is now part of what my body do without effort.
a – I had an argument with my ex husband and in the middle of it I was able to ground, center and bring myself into my body. And I immediately realized it was useless and boring to keep myself into that conversation. So I told him it was time for me to go and I did. To be present into your body helps you to pull yourself away from negative energies.
    2.
a – I love this counting breathing and I love to put an effort in balancing it. What an amazing practice. It helps me to be aware of my here and now.. and my body seems to love it, since in the middle of the day I would simply just start breathing.
b – This week the Soul Love meditation helped me to understand that there is beauty in sadness. I was able to feel my sadness without trying to run away from it.
    3.
a – “ There is nothing good or bad but thinking makes it so.”
b – Good or bad depends on the way you look at it.

    1. I practice the tools daily.
    a. I have been very sick with a respiratory infection and under stress from end-of-life issues with my beloved 15 year old dog. I realized I wasn’t breathing and wasn’t centered in my body, which was making both the sickness and stress worse. Coming back into my body and deep even breathing brought ease to everything.
    2. I’m practicing the breathing and soul love meditation daily.
    3. Listened to The Gratitude Diaries:
    a. There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so. -Hamlet
    b. Good or bad depends on your attitude.
    4. I discussed gratitude with my AP partner, which helped shift my thinking on gratitude for every day we have with this sweet dog of ours, as well as gratitude around growing a heart-centered Spirit-aligned intuitive and energy healing business, and most importantly gratitude for my loving family and for our family’s ability to access medicines when needed.

    1. The more my conscious awareness tuned in to this, the more I release how often I tend to leave my body. I don’t have one aha moment, I just notice now anytimeI don’t feel, or don’t have tactile sensations that I am not in my body. I have been doing the practice of calling my energy back to me, gathering at the base of my spine, feet and legs.
    2. The meditation have been going well, I do them first thing in the am before starting my day, my breath is more balance without effort and feeling more ease in my body
    3. a. “there is nothing good or bad, but thinking makes it so”
    b. good or bad depends on our perceptions
    4. Really lovely check in with my AP this week, so appreciating the gratitude practice and have journaling one thing I am grateful for every evening 🙂

    HW
    1) example of when you were out of your body and you brought yourself back in – I’m more visual than an auditory learner so the audio book is challenging. But I used and will continue to use the practice of coming into my body to get better with it.

    2) Not a problem to regulate and have balanced breathing.

    3) quote by hamlet “There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.”
good or bad depends on blank blank (our perceptions)

    4) Good talk with AP – one thing I shared is that I’ve been inspired to finally start my own gratitude journal.

    1. Practiced the tools daily.
    A) I felt out of my body in a situation at work, I felt like I was so far removed from being interested in the conflict that was going on that it felt better outside my body. I had a moment then where I reminded myself that this office is not for always and I just have to do it for now. I felt myself coming back into awareness and grounding, it felt peaceful and warming.
    2. A) I have been inhaling to about 8 and then can exhale for closer to 15. I am trying to balance these I find it harder to inhale deeply and steady.
    B) I am loving the soul meditation I feel light and airy when I am connecting. Makes me feel like I don’t want to ground.
3.A) “There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.” -Hamlet
    B) “Good or bad depends on our perceptions.”
    4. The call with my AP went well. We seemed to have a similar subjects in life we are grateful for, it was nice to talk about them out loud with another person. It got me wanting to begin journaling again. I was reminded by this book to be grateful for what I have in my life now, to be more present.

  9. Wayne

1a Practiced in and out and grounding. Found pulling in is deeply gratifying and relaxing out is freeing.
    b) I became aware of being spread out too much on my to-do list and feeling anxious. Centered and focused on my bodies energy and pulled myself in.
2a) Focused on equal balanced breathing, fully in and out.
    b) added awareness of my connection.
    3) downloaded Gratitude diaries.
    a) “ There is nothing good or bad but thinking makes it so.”
    b) Good or bad depends on how we look at it.
    4) Connected with AP about gratitude.

  10. Zinnia

    4) I enjoyed discussing with my AP. I got to experience for the first time how gratitude can shift us out of negativity, especially if we are thankful for the things we have trouble with. We went a little beyond (we both wanted to) and had great insights about being grounded vs not, the whys, and the consequences, which is a major area of learning for both of us. We felt like two wise women shearing heart to heart … ah, ah, ah (LOL) ;0)

  11. Kat

    1) I used the tools every day
    A) I started going out of my body during an interaction with my son- I noticed and dropped some grounding cords and came back in.

    2) Meditation
    A) I did the balanced breathing
    B) I did 5 minutes soul love daily

    3) I downloaded The Gratitude Diaries and listened to the first 30 minutes
    A) “There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so”
    B) good or bad depends on ____ _____ (our perspective)

    4) I spoke with my HW partner. I love her!
    A) I am grateful that the resources I need show up when I need them. I am grateful that I am able to earn a living doing work that I love. I am grateful that I am aware of my path and able to follow it.

    5) Blogged! ❤️

    Homework Report – Level 1 – Week 3

    1. I used my tools: in/out of body, grounding, and centering.
1A. I noticed I was out of my body once when my mind had wandered a million miles off. I paused, breathed deeply and called myself back into present time and place.

    2. Meditation
2A + B. Each day, I did one minute of balanced count breathing, followed by 5 minutes of soul love mediation — each with a timer.

    3. I downloaded and listened to the first 30 minutes of Janice Kaplan’s “The Gratitude Diaries.”
3A. Hamlet said: “There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.”
3B. The author wrote: “Goodness or badness depends on our perceptions.”

    4. My partner and I each discussed 3 things we are grateful for. We used a timer.

A: (Tools) although I notice quite often when I am out of my body I had an interesting experience of noticing me ‘leaving’ when I was receiving acupuncture. I had been drifting off to sleep when it happened and as I pulled my self back in it triggered a lucid dream, which was very healing.

B: Meditations are multiple times daily and very helpful. Robin I am quite experienced with these techniques, and meditating so I’ve naturally just been doing what amount feels good for me. Would you prefer I keep it limited or this is fine?

C: Quote: “There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so” ~Hamlet. life is truly a game of perception, what we believe we create. I’ve always loved to think of spirituality just like being a spin doctor. All is simply what it is, nothing more, nothing less.

D: Call with AP partner to share our Gratitude’s. I’m grateful for experiencing my Self through All life. I’m grateful for an amazingly kind hearted and spiritually aware mother that I can be myself with, learn, and grow with and be supported (so blessed). I’m grateful for my community and the unconditional generosity pouring into my life.
