Basic Level~ Homework

Class #1 Homework

* If you want to remain anonymous, please sign in using a code name, such as a cartoon character or any name you like. Let me know your code name so I can mark off that you have completed your homework assignment.

1)      Do The Soul Love meditation for 15 minutes per day.

2)      Each day write 5 goals that you would like to achieve in your notebook. Then cross out 4 to find ONE chief aim. WHEN YOU VISUALIZE YOUR CHIEF AIM IT MUST MAKE YOU FEEL VERY HAPPY! Do this exercise every day and by next week decide on the ONE goal that you will use for class to manifest.

3)      Call a partner and talk about your decision for 5 minutes. Set a timer and switch after 5 minutes. Please keep it short and end on time! This is important! Have them be your sounding board in case you need help deciding on a chief aim. Tell them why you decided on that ONE aim. Be open to give and receive feedback. You can ask questions like, "Is that really your heart's desire?" Or, "Is there anything you would love to create even more?"

4)      Blog about your chief aim and your meditation practice. One sentence each. Keep it short.

    My chief aim is to reconnect and ground with my true self. I have been very disconnected.

    I selected my chief aim with the help of talking it thru with my partner. I feel very happy thinking about it too even tho there is some fear bubbling up. So far not able to hold the soul love meditation for 15 mins.

    It was helpful to think about creating a goal that was attainable in a shorter period of time. My partner and I were able to distill down the goal.

    I chose a chief aim that is a step toward a larger goal. My meditation times have been pretty consistent although it is challenging staying focused and know what to say or feel for 15 minutes that will help me achieve the feeling of “soul love”.

      Hi Everyone,

      I am posting for both Barbara and myself today. She still has a few computer glitches. The 3 (5 minute) segments have been helpful to her.

      Myself, I had a hard time for a few days in a row due to being very busy. However I decided that I just have to make an appointment with myself each day. Barbara made a good suggestion to do it when I have some morning tea or coffee. I am having an easy time visualizing my goal very easily through out the day. I find that fun…

    I am enjoying doing the meditations.

    My goal is the same as it has been for a long time now – why change it?
    It has a new refinement. I would like to feel my true self and be peaceful and easy in myself ESPECIALLY in the presence of other people – just talking, sharing life, and especially when reading energy.

    Looking back to the very first week of this class, I took time the first 4 days to write down my goals and things I wanted to manifest each day in a little notebook. It became clear after the 3rd or 4th day what it was – almost logical – and that was to actually ask for income – money. As my partner mentioned above, the focus with the meditations was really nice structure for me and encouraged me to make a better commitment to meditation, especially this particular format – a little different for me.
